The Catalyst: EMTC (Emerging Manager Tech Council) is an initiative of the Foundation for Innovation in Real Estate (FIRE), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to advancing responsible and inclusive innovation across the built environment.
The Catalyst was created to support emerging owners, operators, and investment managers as they navigate the increasingly complex intersection of real estate operations, technology, and capital. We believe innovation in real estate should be practical, accessible, and grounded in real world operations rather than driven by hype or isolated solutions.
Through curated education, peer collaboration, research, and industry engagement, The Catalyst helps emerging managers evaluate, adopt, and influence technology that improves operational performance, resident experience, and long term value creation.
